By providing your mobile phone number and choosing to receive text messages from Loup Basin Public Health Department (LBPHD), you agree to these Terms of Service.

What messages will I recieve

If you opt in, you may receive text messages related to your healthcare services, including:

Message frequency varies based on your appointments and communication needs. Most clients will receive messages only when they have an upcoming appointment or need to communicate with our staff.

Cost

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan. LBPHD does not charge a fee for text messages.

If you have questions about your appointment or Loup Basin Public Health Department services, please contact us during normal business hours:

Please note: Our text messaging service is monitored only during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. Messages sent outside of business hours will be addressed as soon as possible on the next business day.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately. Do not use text messaging to request emergency medical assistance. If your message is related to an appointment or LBPHD services and it is not an emergency, please call our office during the next available business day.

Changes to these terms

We respect your privacy. Your mobile number and any information you provide through text messaging will be handled according to our

Privacy Policy and applicable healthcare privacy laws.

Please remember that text messaging is not a secure method for sharing sensitive medical information. Do not send detailed medical information, Social Security numbers, insurance information, or other confidential information by text message unless specifically instructed by LBPHD staff through a secure process.

LBPHD may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with the updated effective date.
