Making sun safety simple across our community

Skin Cancer Prevention 

Providing education, resources, and free sunscreen access to help reduce skin cancer risk.

Our Skin Cancer Prevention Program focuses on reducing skin cancer risk through education, awareness, and increased access to protection. We partner with local pools across our district to install free, touchless sunscreen dispensers, making it easy for individuals and families to protect their skin while enjoying time outdoors.

In addition to providing sunscreen, we share information on sun safety practices such as using sunscreen as directed, wearing protective clothing, and limiting sun exposure during peak hours. We also encourage regular skin checks and awareness of changes that may need medical attention. Whether you’re spending time at the pool, working outside, or enjoying the outdoors, our program is here to help you take simple, effective steps to protect your skin.
